MERIT BADGE COLLEGE & Order of the Arrow Workshop FOR BOY SCOUTS & WEBELOS PIN WORKSHOP

WHEN: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2013

WHERE: Victoria College Health Sciences Center, 2200 E. Red River,Victoria, TX. (Across from Citizen’s Medical Center Parking Garage)

TIME: Check in at 7:00am. Classes Begin at 8:00am.

 COST: $10.00 includes lunch, drink & a patch. $5.00 if you bring your lunch, but also includes a patch. Registration is through the South Texas Council Service Center Office. No registration will be accepted after October 21st to assist instructors and event staff in preparing for the merit badge college.

 Merit Badge College is opened to all registered Boy Scouts. SCOUTS can register for 1 or 2 merit badges. Some badges require 8 hours, but most only 4 hours. Scouts are encouraged to register early as some class sizes are limited.

 Most badges can be completed in one day, but others require outside work. Scouts should obtain and review merit badge pamphlet(s) prior to class. Proof of requirements prior to class should be brought on the day of the merit badge college.

 Webelos Workshop is opened to all registered Webelos Scouts. Scouts may register for one or both workshop tracts. See track schedule included in this flyer.

 OA Workshop – Scouts can register for the MBC in the morning session and then the OA workshop in afternoon. This workshop will include an introduction to Native American singing, dancing and ceremonies. If not registering for a merit badge cost is $5 & does not include lunch.
